Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading projects from concept to completion, determining project scopes and timelines, managing project risks, and communicating project progress to relevant stakeholders.

  1. Project Leadership: Lead projects from conception to delivery, ensuring timely, within-budget, and high-quality outcomes.
  2. Project Planning: Define project scope, timeline, and resource requirements, and communicate project progress to product managers and the engineering director.
  3. Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks with relevant teams.
  4. Resource Planning: Update the resource planner for each project and negotiate resourcing as needed.
  5. Program Governance: Support the Engineering Director with new reporting templates and develop program/project governance.

Requirements

  1. Project Management Experience: Proven experience as a project manager in an automotive engineering environment delivering complex projects.
  2. Certifications: Prince 2 or APM qualifications.
  3. Tools: Proficient in MS Project management tools.
  4. Leadership: Ability to lead and manage members of the project team.
  5. Financial Management: Able to track project spend and manage contingent costs.
