Service Care Solutions is currently working in partnership with a well-regarded local authority, based in Dudley, which is looking to recruit an experienced Civil Litigation Solicitor. This role offers flexible remote working and the chance to handle a varied and interesting caseload within a supportive local government environment. Job Title: Civil Litigation Solicitor Umbrella Rate: £60–£65 per hour PAYE Inc Rate: £52.79 – £57.14 Location: Dudley – Remote Hours: 4 days per week Duration: Up to 6 months The Role: The successful candidate will manage a broad civil litigation caseload on behalf of the Council, including: Landlord & Tenant litigation. Council tax recovery and litigation. Data protection and information-related claims. Boundary disputes. Vexatious complainants. Highways and pothole claims. General civil litigation matters.You will be responsible for conducting cases through to conclusion, including advocacy and representation in court, and providing clear, practical legal advice to internal stakeholders. About You Be a qualified Solicitor with significant civil litigation experience. Previous local authority experience is highly desirable. Comfortable representing the Council in court proceedings.Benefits: Remote working. Weekly pay – the rate offered will depend on experience and interview performance. Flexible hours.
