Macgregor Black are partnering with a Growing Toy and Gifting company on the search for a Senior National Account Manager. This is a permanent/remote role. As the Senior National Account Manager, you will take ownership of vital relationships with major retail partners, drive sales growth, and help shape the strategic direction for a portfolio of high-profile toy and gifting brands. If you are a skilled account manager with in-depth retail experience, this is a fantastic opportunity to take your career to the next level. Key Responsibilities Oversee and nurture relationships with major national retailers, ensuring product distribution, sales growth, and long-term partnership success. Develop and implement strategic plans for each key account to achieve and exceed sales targets, product distribution goals, and profitability. Lead negotiations on pricing, contracts, and promotional strategies to ensure the best outcomes for both the retailer and the company. Work closely with internal teams such as marketing, supply chain, and product development to ensure seamless execution of product launches and promotions. Stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activity, using insights to shape future sales and marketing strategies. What are we looking for? At least 5+ years of experience in national or key account management within the toy or gifting industries, with strong knowledge of UK retail dynamics. Proven experience managing large accounts with well-known UK retailers such as Tesco, Smyths, Argos, and Amazon. Strong ability to drive sales and negotiate effectively with key decision-makers. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective business strategies to achieve revenue growth. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
