Are you an experienced IT professional with a passion for education and a proven track record in network management? We are seeking a skilled Network Manager to lead and develop our clients IT infrastructure across their Education Trust in Manchester.

About the Role

As their Network Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the IT operations, ensuring robust network security, and delivering high-quality technical support to senior staff and students. You will maintain and develop their systems to support learning and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily IT operations, ensuring systems are secure, reliable, and run efficiently.
  • Lead and manage IT department, providing direction and support to the team.
  • Offer expert technical guidance and strategic insights to the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to drive digital innovation and transformation.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute IT projects, including infrastructure enhancements, cloud-based solutions, and digital development initiatives.

About You

  • 5+ years’ experience in an IT management role, ideally within education or a similar environment.

  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and virtualized environments.
  • Proven ability to manage IT projects and budgets effectively.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
