About the Role
Reporting directly to the FD and CEO, this role is perfect for a commercially minded finance professional eager to make an impact. You’ll take ownership of financial operations, drive process improvements, and support strategic decision-making in a dynamic retail setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee group and subsidiary accounting, ensuring financial accuracy and compliance.
- Develop and implement processes to scale financial operations, including integrating new entities.
- Partner with key stakeholders across the business to provide commercial insights and support growth initiatives.
- Own the month-end close, financial reporting, and budgeting process.
- Lead the audit process and continuously improve financial controls.
Candidate Profile:
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with at least 3 years PQE.
- Strong background in retail, ecommerce, or consumer product businesses.
- Experience in high-growth or multi-site environments is a plus.
- Confident communicator with a hands-on, problem-solving approach.
