Senior Consultant – Actuarial | London & Lloyds Market

Our client, a high-growth syndicate, is seeking a nearly or newly qualified candidate to join their Capital team.

The role reports to the Head of Capital Modelling and will give you the opportunity to work closely with stakeholders across the actuarial function, underwriting, exposure management, finance, and operations.

While the position primarily revolves around capital modelling, the structure of the firm offers opportunities to expand knowledge and gain experience in reserving and pricing.

Responsibilities:

Support the Head of Capital Modelling to meet regulatory and business requirements.
Stakeholder engagement to coordinate the capital setting process.
Produce regulatory returns, including the LCR, TP\’s, PRA templates, and other ad-hoc reporting.
Assist SII initiatives and regulatory compliance, including validation processes, use tests, documentation, and contribution to the ORSA.
Lead on model parameterisation process, developing new methodologies and processes.

Skills:

At least 4+ years in a capital modelling role.
Strong project management and communication skills.
Proficiency in ReMetrica; other capital modelling platforms are also considered.
