Senior Document Controller Role – Asite
Location: Central London
Type: Full Time, Fully site based
Contract: Permanent
Experience: ASITE experience essential
I am currently working with a large contractor in recruiting a Senior Document Controller to oversee one of their West London sites.
You will report directly to a Director and will look after the following responsibilities:
- Attend internal project start-up meetings to ensure a smooth transition from project inception to construction phase.
- Manage documents for multiple projects, ensuring Teams Channels and Project Folders are created and documents are uploaded accurately and timely.
- Upload documents efficiently to the client.
- Maintain knowledge and understanding of the document control process at an operational level.
- Ensure documentation follows the approvals process.
- Carry out quality assurance checks on all information uploaded.
- Ensure all documents are up to date and completed correctly prior to internal or external audits.
- Identify and distribute external documentation as agreed.
- Control and maintain all drawings/documentation in a methodical manner.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and provide systems training.
- Support internal and external users regarding system issues.
- Organize print services for drawings when required.
- Liaise with the production team regarding handover information/documentation.
- Complete monthly reports as required.
