Gecko Travel Recruitment are delighted to be working with a music and entertainment travel business in their search for a Team Leader .
As Team Leader in this exciting and fast-paced business, you will lead a team of fantastic travel specialists as well as manage your own client base. You will be working with VIPs managing their travel and logistical requirements, as well as leading and mentoring the team.
Experience as a leader in the music and entertainment travel business is essential for this role.
The role:
- Lead and mentor a team of travel specialists ensuring high standards in customer service and efficiency
- Manage high-profile client accounts taking ownership of their end-to-end travel requirements
- Develop the travel specialists ensuring ongoing training and development
- Work with senior leaders to develop new strategies to grow the business
- Drive operational excellence through continual improvement of processes while ensuring accuracy and outstanding customer service
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, management teams, and travel partners
You will have:
- 5+ years in a travel role with 2+ years managing high-profile clients or complex entertainment clients
- Advanced GDS experience ideally Galileo including reissues, refunds, complex itinerary changes
- Experience of leading and mentoring a team while maintaining your own clients
- Outstanding client management skills, fostering those relationships, and handling any escalations
- Experience of business development, securing new opportunities within the entertainment industry
- Demonstrate resilience and a calm approach when in a fast-paced high-pressure environment

- Hybrid working (1 to 3 days in the office)
