Senior Fund Controller – Leading Private Equity Fund (New Strategy) – £110k-£130k + 50% bonus

Autumnal Partners are currently recruiting exclusively on behalf of a leading Private Equity fund seeking a Senior Fund Controller to work on a new strategy they are developing across multiple asset classes.
This is an unusual opportunity to join a well-established firm with the benefits that brings, whilst also being a function that will allow you to craft and develop the new strategy\’s operating model.
The firm is embedding three recently qualified hires into the strategy who you will manage and direct in their day-to-day activities.
Role responsibilities will be varied but will include:
- Review of work related to monthly reporting, semi-annual and annual financial reporting.
- Assistance and review/oversight of the management of monthly investor information, liaising with Treasury and Capital Formation teams.
- Review and approval of investor distributions.
- Review of monthly factsheet for investor reporting and fund marketing purposes, including calculation of fund performance.
- Responsibility to engage with investors and handle queries related to fund reporting and other ad-hoc matters.
- Engagement with fund operational matters, including investment allocations, FX hedging, oversight of fund budget, etc.
- Help to manage relationship with external service providers (auditors, administrators, etc.).
- Building a scalable operating model to help support the aggressive growth of the strategy.
- Play an integral role in aggressively building the internal and external teams to help support the strategy.
Applicants must be qualified (ideally c5-10 post-qualified) with deep experience in fund finance. The client is open-minded about asset class but has a preference for Private Equity. You should have a strong academic background, enjoy staff management and development, and want to be in a growing busy environment where you will lead and direct change.
