We are seeking a Compliance Manager to take the lead in auditing and ensuring that a large public sector property portfolio meets all statutory and regulatory requirements. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in maintaining high compliance standards across a diverse estate while providing specialist expertise and leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all managed properties adhere to statutory regulations, approved codes of practice, and best-in-class compliance standards.
- Provide expert guidance to internal departments, operational sites, and senior stakeholders, delivering clear and concise management reports.
- Supervise compliance staff, consultants, and specialist contractors, working closely with maintenance and project teams.
- Develop a robust strategy to track and maintain compliance across all operational buildings, using digital reporting and CAFM systems.
- Stay ahead of regulatory changes, ensuring all compliance measures are up to date and effectively communicated to relevant teams.
- Identify gaps in compliance through audits, escalate non-compliance issues, and implement timely remedial actions.
- Work closely with Facilities Management, internal departments, and operational site managers to maintain a culture of compliance and best practice.
- Take responsibility for compliance-related matters in the absence of the Head of Facilities Management.
- Review reports and certificates, assess compliance actions, and prepare budget proposals for remedial works.
