The Opportunity
Our client is a leading renewable energy developer driving the transition to a zero-carbon future. With a strong pipeline of ground-mounted solar farms and commercial rooftop solar projects , they are growing rapidly and seeking a Solicitor to join their legal team .
This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work on complex real estate and renewable energy transactions , playing a key part in securing land and navigating regulatory frameworks to support the development of large-scale solar projects. Key Responsibilities
- Real Estate Transactions – Handle property acquisitions, leases, sales, and financing for renewable energy projects.
- Legal & Regulatory Compliance – Advise on land use, planning, and environmental regulations .
- Contract Negotiation – Draft and negotiate PPAs, joint ventures, and development agreements .
- Due Diligence – Conduct title investigations, land registration reviews, and risk assessments .
- Stakeholder Engagement – Work closely with DNOs, landowners, and local authorities to facilitate project development.
Qualifications & Experience
- Qualified Solicitor with experience in real estate law and renewable energy projects .
- Strong understanding of land acquisition, leases, and energy infrastructure .
- Commercially minded, with a solutions-focused approach to legal challenges.
- Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
