Commercial and Technology Lawyer, Banking

A major UK retail and corporate bank is looking for an additional junior lawyer to join the established and stable commercial and technology legal team. The role will require you to work on commercial matters such as the drafting and negotiating of high value commercial contracts, IT licensing, financial products distribution, material outsourcing, supporting the operations and infrastructure of the group, data protection etc. You will support the business on digital, innovation and AI matters, working with new ventures developed by the bank. You will provide strategic legal advice and assist with policy change and improving best practice.

This role might best suit someone junior looking for a step out of private practice. No prior financial services experience is required but you must have some commercial contracts experience and be hungry to learn and progress. You will receive excellent training from a supportive team and a great name on the CV.
