We have a mixture of experience and talent across our Marketing team, especially within the fish & seafood segment, which is our most lucrative within Nomad Foods. Joining us as Senior Brand Manager, you’ll work with our leading brand “THE CAPTAIN” and partner with our Media, Brand and Comms teams to bring new ideas to life. You’ll have exposure to supporting all our cluster markets, so if you enjoy working and managing senior stakeholders across Europe, then this role is for you! Innovation is the biggest growth lever in the Nomad Foods Strategic Plan over the next few years, and this role will play a key part in that.
About the role:
An exciting role within the central Marketing team, the Senior Brand Manager role will focus on driving growth across the 6 clusters (22 Key Markets) in the fish and seafood segment. The role includes exciting initiatives on activation and innovation partnering with both internal teams and external agencies to drive results. As a pillar of the centre of excellence for marketing within the business, it is a great position combining strategy, project management, and scale. With a full international remit, the Portfolio Senior Brand Manager position is perfect for a driven individual wanting to develop to the next level.
Key accountabilities:
- Innovation & Renovation: Understand the category vision and how its key drivers are the basis for segment growth and brand growth.
- Building Knowledge to Win: Be able to assess performance as part of the flywheel process to inform strategy for the segment.
- Commercial Acumen: Have a clear understanding of the basic principles of PPA/ Price/ Promo and understand how the levers can work to support both innovation and renovation.
- Working collaboratively: Collaborate with Insights, RDQ, PMO, Supply Chain, and Finance colleagues to deliver strategic P&L that meets or exceeds KPIs for the NPDs and ensures great quality marketing execution.
About you:
We’re looking for someone who has previous experience of working in a similar role, with exposure to innovation/NPD. You’re naturally curious, have a real passion for food, and possess a “MAKE IT HAPPEN” attitude. You should be able to work within a matrix environment across various functions and be used to collaborating with stakeholders across different markets, as you will be supporting our 6 clusters. Understanding the European market and managing senior stakeholders globally will be part of your daily responsibilities. You should be confident in presenting to large audiences and have the enthusiasm to learn, as you will become our SME of the fish & seafood brand segment. If all that wasn’t enough, you’ll also have:
- A proven track record of achievement within an FMCG environment.
- Successfully led product innovation development, ideally in a category-led organisation.
- Able to demonstrate strong people influence skills and collaboration to work in cross-functional teams.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Previous experience of working in different countries and with diverse nationalities.
- Mandatory language requirements: English, with an understanding of Italian/German/French being an advantage.
