For Companies We are working with a leading civils company, who are actively looking for a Senior Buyer to work on the Rail Division side. You will work on NEC Contracts.
Duties:
- Identifying the operational unit demand and supply chain capacity.
- Buyer materials for sub-lines, bridges, lifts, platforms for Rail Stations.
- Working on all aspects of the buyer cycle.
- Procurement of sub-contractors and materials covering, Pre-construction, work winning, supply chain, production of sub-contracts for Rail projects.
- Manage the Supply chain including performance and relationship management.
- Working with the stakeholders.
Experience Required:
- Knowledge of the process and procedures from pre and construction stage.
- Good experience with stakeholders.
- Working on NEC Contracts.
- Working with sub-contractors on Rail projects.
Salary: £40,000- £60,000 plus allowance and package, some flexible home working. The client is open to speaking to Quantity Surveyors, who have a civils background in rail on NEC contracts, who are potentially looking to move to a buyer's role.
