Job Description
We are working with a leading civils company, who are actively looking for a Senior Buyer to work on the Rail Division side. You will work on NEC Contracts\\nDuties:\\n * Identifying the operational unit demand and supply chain capacity.\\n * Buyer materials for sub-lines, bridges, lifts, platforms for Rail Stations.\\n * Working on all aspects of the buyer cycle\\n * Procurement of sub-contractors and materials covering, Pre-construction, work winning, supply chain, production of sub- contracts for Rail projects.\\n * Manage the Supply chain including performance and relationship management.\\n * Working with the stake holders.\\nExperience Required:\\n * Knowledge of the process and procedures from pre and construction stage.\\n * Good experience with stakeholders.\\n * Working on NEC Contracts\\n * Working with sub-contractors on Rail projects.\\nSalary: £40,000- £60,000 plus allowance and package, some flexible home working.\\nThe client is open to speaking to Quantity Surveyors, who have a civils background in rail on NEC contracts, who are potentially looking to move to a buyer’s role.\\nIf you are interested and want to hear more, please apply so we can discuss the role in more detail
