Role: Architect – Data Observability
Location: Leeds (Hybrid)
Duration: Full-time
Responsibilities:
- Should be well versed with modern observability tools and standards on both cloud and non-cloud hosting platforms.
- Particularly familiar with Open Telemetry around how to best ingest and display metrics, logs, and traces.
- Experience with Open Search, Grafana, Prometheus, oTel, and Splunk.
- Experience in building monitoring for OS (Linux and Windows), K8, DBs, APIs, Applications, and microservices.
- Good design and documentation skills to ensure any framework can be successfully implemented and supported.
- The ability to communicate and sell the overall observability strategy to a wide audience.
- Ability to explain technical requirements in detail.
- Knowledge of Data Observability tools (ADOC, Monte Carlo, etc).
- Knowledge of Data governance frameworks and tools (Collibra, DQ solutions, Data Engineering, pipelines, etc).
