Electric Vehicle Technician Hertfordshire – £50,000 OTE We are currently recruiting for a dedicated Electric Vehicle Technician for one of the best-known motor retail dealer groups in the UK for their superb prestige dealership in the Hertfordshire area. This role involves maintaining and repairing EV vehicles and systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise and a genuine passion for EV technology Your Role as Electric Vehicle Technician: Perform general diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on electric vehicles (EVs) including battery systems, electric motors, and related components. Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to EV systems, including software and hardware integration. Stay updated on the latest developments in EV technology and industry trends. Explain repairs and technical details when necessary. About You: You will have proven experience as a Vehicle Technician with a strong understanding of electric vehicle systems and technology. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work. Knowledge of industry safety standards and best practices for EV maintenance Qualifications required: EV IMI Level 3 certification as a minimum in electric vehicle technology or related field. You will also be fully qualified to an NVQ, IMI, ATA or City & Guilds (C&G) standard Level 3. Familiarity with advanced diagnostic tools and software.
