Description The performance of Aircraft Maintenance tasks in accordance with company quality and regulatory airworthiness standards and working in conjunction with the Shift Manager to ensure that the operational service meets all the customers contractual requirements. Key Responsibilities Certify all servicing and maintenance tasks in accordance with their scope of authorisation and under the authority of Quality Department. Ensure that all technical staff working under their supervision perform their duties in a safe and correct manner in accordance with approved documentation. Assume direct control of documentation for aircraft under their control & ensure that all required certification entries are promptly and correctly recorded. Control any material or company equipment provided for task and the cleanliness of their working environment. Encouragement and motivation of staff and open reporting in a just culture. Liaise and discuss technical issues and schedules with Technical Services and Planning Engineers Support and monitor sustainment of Health, Safety and Environmental requirements for all staff. Report all safety/disciplinary matters to Line Manager. Deputise for Senior Engineers as required in periods of absence. Skills, Knowledge & Expertise CAA B1 licence with A330 Type Rating and Company Authorisation. An understanding of the demands of operating and organising a team within a Zonal working structure. Ability to take full ownership with respect to delivering objectives within timescales. Experience in liaising and communicating with internal/external agencies. Good understanding of leading personnel development and mentoring.
