Job Purpose
Establish and implement data management procedures, analysis tools and methodologies to reflect the ongoing needs of the Capital Market trends. Connect, verify and ensure proper data flow within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for the data flow in capital markets, directly supporting group members with technical solutions and addressing complex client queries as needed.
- Research and explore data, using high level analytical tools in a high-level technical environment.
- Work with a large amount of data and build tools to streamline the process.
- Implement methods and models of data cleansing, data view and quality assurance.
- Work closely with other internal departments and resources including support and Operations, to develop workflows, quality assurance processes and product enhancements, as well as assist the group members with technical solutions.
- Constantly analyze the system, find weaknesses and offer technical solutions for improvement and optimization.
Knowledge and Experience
- BA/BSc in Business, Finance, Mathematics, Economics or Financial Engineering.
- Independent fast learner with a βcan doβ attitude.
- +3 years of experience in the financial industry/banking.
- Proven experience with data products and platforms.
- Knowledge of SQL - a must, Python - advantage.
- Demonstrate analytical and quantitative skills to solve problems.
