My client is a specialist in renewable energy solutions, helping businesses cut costs and achieve net zero with onsite and smart energy management. With over a decade of expertise, they remove barriers to clean energy by providing fully managed, optimised systems without the upfront costs. They are recruiting for a Commissioning and Service Engineer.

Field Service Engineer – EV, Solar and Battery

Location: Glasgow/Hybrid (1 week WFH, 2 weeks travelling to local sites)

Salary: £40,000 – £50,000

Daily Duties:

  1. Commission and service renewable energy systems across commercial sites.
  2. Assess client requirements and develop tailored technical solutions.
  3. Oversee system installation, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently.
  4. Diagnose and resolve technical issues, working closely with the wider team.
  5. Provide technical guidance to clients, installers, and project managers.
  6. Conduct proactive servicing and performance assessments of existing installations.
  7. Collaborate with R&D to support the development and implementation of new technologies.

This role offers flexibility on location, and you can be based anywhere in the North East. However, you must be comfortable with regular travel to client sites across the region.

Tech Stack:

  1. Electrical systems and low-voltage renewable technologies.
  2. Battery energy storage, EV charging, and energy management systems.

Requirements:
