Field Service Engineer – Physiotherapy Medical Equipment
Electro-Medical Engineering Services Ltd are looking for a Field Service Engineer to join our team, based in Urmston, Manchester.
We service, calibrate and repair Medical/Physiotherapy equipment in hospitals and private clinics, mostly around the North of the UK. The job entails travelling to these sites in order to perform service tasks, and also to our office in Urmston to service and repair devices.
The job may entail a small number of nights away in a hotel per year.
The role involves general servicing/planned preventative maintenance, testing medical devices for electrical safety to BS EN 62353 medical standards, performance testing, calibration and repairs/fault finding.
We operate in a niche sector. Our ideal candidate would have previous experience operating as a field service engineer on electro-mechanical type equipment. We will provide full training for the specialist types of equipment we service and repair.
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Service Engineer (Electronic / Electro-Mechanical)
- Qualification /Experience in Electronics (preferably BTEC Electronic Engineering)
- A solid understanding of basic electronic principles
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Clean Driving Licence
- Be comfortable travelling around the North of the UK
- Excellent Time Management and Attention to Detail
- Based within a reasonable commute to Urmston, Manchester
