Air Conditioning Engineer

Business and Marketing Manager at Kirk Refrigeration

We are seeking to employ multiple air conditioning engineers for install, service, fault finding, and repairing air conditioning systems, namely VRV/VRF’s, Split Units etc. The engineers will be working nationally.

The engineers must have experience working on Daikin, Toshiba, and Mitsubishi Electric. The ideal candidate will live within the Hull area and can commute to the company office based within the city.

The air conditioning engineers MUST have a minimum of 1 year experience in service and repair of air conditioning systems within commercial premises. The engineer must also hold their F-Gas Cat 1 and a minimum NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in air conditioning and refrigeration.

Duties:

• Install, repair, and maintain air conditioning systems
• Build and assemble air conditioning units
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance of air conditioning equipment
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with air conditioning systems
• Repair or replace defective parts in air conditioning units
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
• Provide leadership and guidance to junior technicians

Requirements:

• Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of air conditioning systems
• Proven experience in equipment repair and maintenance
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
• Leadership skills to guide and mentor junior technicians

Salary: Competitive with overtime available, average working holiday pay included.
