Job Summary:
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring equipment reliability, minimising downtime, and supporting process improvements .
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of manufacturing and packaging machinery
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal performance
- Diagnose and resolve technical faults to minimise production disruptions
- Work with automation, control systems, and other technologies as required
- Ensure all equipment operates in line with company standards and regulatory requirements
- Identify and implement efficiency improvements in processes and equipment
- Collaborate with production, quality, and warehouse teams to maintain smooth operations
- Keep accurate maintenance records for compliance and performance tracking
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and adhere to health & safety regulations
- Support a culture of continuous improvement within the engineering team
- Maintain a positive, proactive, and can-do attitude
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Engineer in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to diagnose and repair a range of production machinery
- Strong problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills
- Understanding of GMP and quality control principles
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Experience in pharmaceutical or medical device manufacturing
- Familiarity with automation, control systems, and PLCs
- Understanding of industry regulations
- Additional technical qualifications or training
