As an Electrical Commissioning Test Engineer , you’ll play a key role in ensuring electrical systems and equipment are commissioned and tested to the highest standards. This role offers a mix of 1 day office-based work and 4 days on-site , providing variety and hands-on experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Commissioning & Testing: Plan, execute, and oversee commissioning activities for electrical systems.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve electrical faults efficiently.
- Documentation: Prepare detailed reports on commissioning and testing procedures.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all work meets safety regulations and industry standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain high-quality standards and ensure best practices are followed.
What We’re Looking For
- Time-served electrician with 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification.
- Experience in electrical commissioning & testing within industrial or commercial projects.
- Strong understanding of electrical regulations & industry standards .
- Proficiency in using testing equipment and diagnostic tools .
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail .
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Full UK driving license and willingness to travel across NI.
