The Role:
As a Naval Architect, you’ll play a vital role in designing, developing, and maintaining the organisation’s fleet and associated equipment. Working alongside multi-disciplinary teams, you’ll be responsible for:
- Providing technical expertise in stability, structures, and human factors for all floating assets.
- Supporting new vessel construction and ongoing fleet maintenance.
- Developing innovative, cost-effective engineering solutions.
- Liaising with boatyards, contractors, and suppliers to ensure project success.
- Undertaking technical investigations, troubleshooting, trials, and data analysis.
- Ensuring compliance with internal engineering and asset management (EAM) standards.
What We’re Looking For:
- Degree in Naval Architecture (RINA accredited or equivalent, Level 5+).
- 2-3 years’ experience working as a Naval Architect.
- A problem-solving mindset with a passion for innovation.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects effectively.
