The Role: We’re looking for a ‘point-and-go’ proactive and versatile Marketing Executive to manage and grow our marketing activities. You’ll play a crucial role in enhancing our brand presence, driving sales, and engaging our community of cycling enthusiasts. This is a varied and dynamic role within a small team, where you\’ll be hands-on with every aspect of marketing, from social media to trade shows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Marketing Strategy & Implementation: Work closely with the directors to create and implement effective marketing tactics aligned with overall business goals.
- Content Creation: Produce compelling photo, video, and graphic content for use across social media, email, and advertising.
- Social Media: Day-to-day management of all social media channels, including content planning, posting, and community engagement.
- Digital Advertising: Run and optimise social media ad campaigns (e.g., Meta) and Google Ads/keywords.
- Product Campaigns: Manage launch campaigns for new products.
- Email Marketing: Create and manage email campaigns to engage our audience and promote products.
- Website & SEO: Manage and update the website, optimise SEO, and create engaging blog content.
- Events: Organise trade shows, events, and other marketing activities.
- Brand Ambassador Management: Develop and maintain relationships with brand ambassadors to enhance brand awareness.
- B2B Sales: Build and maintain relationships with B2B clients such as bike shops, retailers, and brands.
- General Admin: Assist with occasional non-marketing admin tasks, reflecting the collaborative spirit of our small team.
About You: We’re looking for someone who is:
- Creative and passionate about marketing, with a flair for content creation.
- Organised, proactive, and able to work independently.
- Comfortable juggling multiple tasks in a dynamic, small-team environment.
- Ideally, passionate about cycling or outdoor sports.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in digital marketing & social media management.
- Strong content creation (photography & videography) skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g. Google Analytics) and the ability to interpret performance metrics to drive marketing decisions.
- Copywriting skills and an eye for design.
- Experience with Meta Ads, Google Ads, and SEO.
- Proficiency in graphic design tools.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience in event management and organising trade shows.
- Previous experience working with brand ambassadors or influencers.
- Familiarity with WordPress / WooCommerce or similar CMS platforms.
