ABOUT THE JOB
Gunzilla Games is looking to recruit a Capture Artist & Video Editor to join our Marketing team for our game OTG (Off The Grid), an all-new AAA Extraction Battle Royale shooter, currently available as Early Access on PlayStation5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
As our GAME CAPTURE ARTIST & VIDEO EDITOR, you’ll work with our marketing and cinematics teams to develop industry-standard marketing videos. You will help choreograph and record captures for both internal and external use, working within the video team and closely with our other in-house video editors.
You will have the opportunity to be part of the creative process sharing your own experience and ideas for capture, and as you gain knowledge of the game have more creative control over the type of shots that can be used in the marketing.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Capture both still images/screenshots and video from the game.
- Work within the Marketing team to produce both internal and external gameplay content.
- Help edit video content, either working with other Capture Artists or capturing for your edits.
- Identify opportunities and make recommendations for shots/features to showcase (optional).
- Problem-solve to achieve the best results while working within the confines of unfinished technology.
- Assist in sourcing in-game assets.
- Direct/Choreograph players/QA team members.
- Capture stills for marketing.
- Archive, organize, log, and manage assets.
REQUIREMENTS
- 3+ years of experience working as a Capture Artist/Video Editor ideally on a AAA Shooter.
- Proficient with Video Capture tools, ideally capturing with and using Unreal Editor Takerecorder and Sequencer. However, similar tools will be considered if skills are transferable.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite – Premiere, After Effects.
- Create/Edit video projects from start to finish.
- Take ownership of assigned tasks and features.
- Flexible and team-oriented.

- Motion Graphics Skills.
- Experience working with cinematics/Cinematics team.
- Experience with sports and/or action sports photography and/or filmography is beneficial.
- Interest in working in the gaming industry.
- Degree in Film, Art, Design, or related field is a bonus but not required.
