Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor – CAMBRIDGE (permanent or freelance)

Salary: £60,000 – £90,000 + package

Freelance: £350 – £450 per day

Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor required – Civil Engineering business

  • NEC form of contract use
  • site visits and head office work, some hybrid available
  • valuations, variations, final accounts
  • measurement data completed by site teams
  • Monthly CVR\’s
  • negotiating and client relationship building
  • managing compensation events, and keeping on top of contract requirements
  • taking contractual responsibility from a commercial perspective for projects
  • final accounts, etc

Working both on sites and in an office location, with flexibility this role can offer career advancement, management and upward mobility into a more senior commercial post within the business.

Projects:

All projects quite varied in size and structure, all civil engineering focused work, and are valued between £500k and £20m each.

You could be looking after 1 larger scheme or multiple smaller projects.
