Beavertown began life in a tiny BBQ joint in Haggerston, North London. In 2020 we opened BEAVERWORLD, our Out of this World brewery & mothership in Ponders End. Alongside our Lockwood Brewery in Tottenham Hale and our micro-brewery at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium we have the capacity to brew a staggering 90 million pints a year.

The Role
Fancy joining an innovative company where you’ll be responsible for business partnering the On Trade Commercial team. Reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager, you’ll be the key point of contact between the On Trade Commercial team and Finance, business partnering to provide clear reporting, insight and analysis to aid and influence decision making within the business.
What You’ll Be Doing
Reporting
- Responsible for month end duties to report accurate volume and revenue performance to a tight deadline, including management of accruals for On Trade retro funding.
- Accountable for accurate recognition of customer rebates and incentives and technical services in a timely manner.
- Owner of Commercial balance sheet accounts, including monthly reconciliations for review with the Accounting Manager.
- Deliver and develop monthly reporting for the On Trade sales channel that brings together internal and external data sources to assess performance and profitability.
- Develop reporting for trading agreements to provide actionable insight into performance and support decision making. Managing customer agreements and ensuring effective controls are in place.
- Identify ways to improve processes and outputs by looking for efficiencies, leveraging automation and BI tools where appropriate.
- Analyse and track distribution and rate of sale performance for On Trade customers and utilise analysis tools to review and present performance of trade driving initiatives.
Planning & Analysis
- Support the Commercial Finance Manager in the planning of On Trade volumes and related expenses for Annual Plan (AP) and Rolling Forecast (RoFo), owning the relevant inputs and outputs using our planning tool.
- Lead monthly Performance Review meetings with the Commercial team to understand and challenge monthly performance, including returns on pricing investments.
- Conduct analysis on performance of marketing initiatives for On Trade sales channel to support decision making for future activities.
- Produce monthly cost centre reports for all sales channels and support the cost centre owners manage spend with allocated budgets.
- Work on ad-hoc projects as directed by the Commercial Finance Manager.
