About the Role

ANB Trees & Grounds is an Arboricultural Association (AA) Approved tree surgery business based in Berkshire. We are seeking an experienced Arb Manager to lead our tree surgery team, drive operational excellence, and contribute to business growth. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills and a deep knowledge of arboriculture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership – Manage, motivate, and oversee our team of arborists, ensuring high safety and performance standards.
  • Client Management – Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring outstanding customer service and project delivery.
  • Project Planning & Execution – Conduct site surveys, manage the risk assessment/method statement process and oversee projects from start to finish, within budget and deadlines.
  • Health & Safety Compliance – Uphold the strictest health and safety practices along with writing and implementing risk assessments and method statements. Always promoting a strong safety culture.
  • CRM – Use our CRM system to schedule diaries and plan work.

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 5 years proven experience in a management role within the arb industry.
  • Strong knowledge of arboricultural practices, including tree surgery, risk assessment, and tree health management.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills in a high-risk environment.
  • Exceptional communication and client relationship skills.
  • Proficiency in project planning, resource management, and budgeting.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
