Job Description:

East Renfrewshire Council’s Housing Services are looking to recruit a talented and committed individual to the position of Asset Management & Resident Liaison Officer. Working days will be Mondays to Friday.

The successful candidate will lead on both staff and resident consultation during the development and delivery of capital investment project briefs and specifications to ensure where appropriate that their views are incorporated within the project.

The post-holder will be the central point of contact for tenants in relation to projects/works programmes and ensure that their enquiries are dealt with professionally and efficiently either by the post-holder directly or by others.

The post-holder will assist with and/or undertake the preparation, delivery and monitoring of capital programmes and other Housing Services contracts, and will be a central point of contact for internal, external contractors and other Council departments in relation to capital works.

The post-holder will assist the Asset Management Surveyor with the effective development, management and monitoring of ERC Housing’s Asset Management IT database (APEX). The post-holder will update and maintain accurate data held on APEX relating to properties affected by any works/projects being undertaken.

The post-holder will support, assist and cover for other officers within the Property, Capital & Asset Management team, undertaking generic inspections and maintenance repairs functions where requested by their manager.

*Depending upon the needs of the service, staff in Hybrid roles will typically work from home for up to 40-60% of the time where the needs of the service can still be met.
