Cadbury Logistics/ Manufacturing Shift Manager
As Cadbury celebrates its 200 year anniversary in 2024, we continue to make products that our consumers love at the iconic manufacturing site in Bournville.
To enable volume growth and the development of our people and culture we are recruiting for a team of Shift Managers across Manufacturing & Logistics who will provide 24/7 leadership cover.
The successful candidate will have a background in Manufacturing or Logistics, a good understanding of IL6S/Lean Six Sigma, a proven track record of working collaboratively within a TU environment and a real passion for people development.
In our people orientated work environment, consumer safety and the health and wellbeing of our employees comes first. Therefore, ensuring this is at the heartbeat of everything we do is key.
As the leader on shift, you will be responsible for ensuring excellent standards across the Logistics areas. You will be the main escalation point for any supply chain topics. This could include working closely with the wider supply network, offsite warehouses & 3PL’s, and you will be the people manager for a team of approximately 30 Logistics operatives. You will hand over a successful shift to the next Shift Lead on site and ensure clear communications through a DMS meeting structure and written handovers.
Knowledge of Logistics assets (robot/palletisers), Inventory management & SAP (ERP systems) would be an advantage.
We grow stronger through developing a diverse workforce and can discuss flexible options with the right candidate.
