Our client is one of the UK’s largest and most forward thinking Leisure Centre operators. They are currently looking to recruit a Senior Duty Manager for their leading site in Tooting Bec. This is a maternity cover position. Role purpose As a Senior Duty Manager you will oversee the Duty Managers (DMs), as well as carry out DM duties yourself. Working alongside other department/function managers you will lead an operational team in ensuring high levels of customer service and site presentation are achieved through the delivery of company and site processes. In the absence of other deparmtent/function managers you will support other colleagues in their respective departments and ultimately be a representative of senior centre management in their absence. Key accountabilities and decision ownership: – Assist the Operations Manager and/or General Manager in the operational management of the centre including the Safe QMS. – Lead and manage a team of Duty Managers (and respective junior staff) through recruitment, day to day management, appraisals. – Maintain a high profile shop floor presence and a high level of interaction with the staff and customers – Carry out the role of Duty Manager as and when required Qualifcations Required The candidate must hold: * NPLQ with AED * IOSH * PPO
