This role will be key in leading and executing multiple strategic and tactical Supply Chain projects of varied scope, complexity, and timescale, aligned with WD-40 Company's wider strategic goals. This will suit someone comfortable collaborating across a variety of regions within EIMEA and with stakeholders at varying levels. What You’ll Be Doing

  • Take the lead in project management and work collaboratively in the development and implementation of standards, processes, documents and supporting tools, systems and applications in order to develop the project management capability within WD-40 Company EIMEA.
  • Work with leaders across EIMEA to help define the pipeline of work needed to meet the Business Plan and direct projects within the portfolio of work to ensure that critical needs of the supply chain and the wider company are met.
  • Lead multiple tactical Supply Chain projects, covering the following responsibilities:
  • Accountable for ensuring successful implementation of projects to plan, to specification and within budget.
  • Shapes, defines and initiates projects to meet business requirements in line with the programme management project requirements.
  • Ensures there are sound business cases against all projects undertaken, working closely with Finance and project sponsors.
  • Negotiates, agrees and monitors project objectives, scope, deliverables, timescales and budgets throughout the lifecycle of the project.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to develop and maintain detailed and realistic project plans using appropriate tools.
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and the critical path.
  • Bringing multiple functions and partners together to build strong and dynamic project teams delivering complex projects and finding simple and efficient solutions to complex problems.
  • Determine and agree project success measures and tolerances with the project sponsors.
  • Lead and motivate the project team, resolving any conflicts or people issues.
  • Ensure control and engagement through project meetings and steering groups as appropriate.
  • Organise and drive the agendas for project meetings and “check-ins” as required.
  • Communicate and consult with business stakeholders.
  • Meet or exceed stakeholder expectations.
  • Identify, record, manage, and mitigate risks, to prevent them becoming problems, judging when to escalate.
  • Control and manage changes in project scope or requirements, negotiating as necessary with business stakeholders.
  • Ensure learnings are captured and used, before, during and after projects to enable continual improvement in WD-40 projects.
  • Lead external contractors and consultants which could include: terms of reference, confidentiality, tracking, control and invoice sign-off.
  • Maintain the project overview ensuring status updates, and changes to projects are captured and understood.
  • Provide project updates as required to the broader tribe and leadership team as part of a structured stakeholder communication plan, ensuring status updates, and changes to projects are captured and understood.
  • Where required highlight challenges and risk identifying the potential impacts with potential options to resolution or mitigate risk.
  • Provide leadership and coaching in project management to meet corporate and department objectives in harmony with the company’s stated values, Code of Conduct and objectives.
  • Build and lead productive and collaborative project teams.
  • Accountable for identifying and applying necessary resources, training or information for overcoming barriers to success and accomplishing objectives.
  • Set an ethical example for employees throughout the company.
  • Comply with all legal and policy requirements related to employment practices.
  • Take proactive measures to ensure all employees are provided a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Perform other related activities as needed to support corporate objectives.
  • Act in the best interest of the company by applying stated company values/code of conduct and acting in congruence to company strategies and priorities.

What You’ll Bring To The Role

  • A Project management certification, such as, Prince2, Agile, SCRUM.
  • Full driving license.
  • Experience leading and executing complex or varied projects.
  • Experience within the consumer goods or FMCG industries would be desirable.
  • Experience of operating in a cross-functional environment - experience working within a European role would be desirable.
