Role: Senior Corrosion Engineer
Reports to: Integrity Team Lead
Engagement: Contractor

Key Accountabilities
- Deliver Senior Corrosion Engineering consultancy and support services to the satisfaction of the client.
- Deliver as part of a multi-disciplined team that is responsible for the safe, efficient, and effective execution of integrity engineering for specified offshore installations.
- Develop corrosion management strategies and corrosion risk assessments in line with client and external standards.
- Perform defect assessments, corrosion modelling, remaining life assessments and materials and coating suitability studies.
- Conduct risk-based inspection and manage corrosion control matrices / integrity management databases.
- Assign and validate corrosion controls, corrosion loops and corrosion damage mechanisms.
- Support corrosion control management (chemical injection and microbial analysis) and ensure all issues are suitably addressed.
- Assess all asset operating parameter changes and support overall integrity strategy.
- Apply knowledge of international standards and codes NACE, ASME, API and ASTM especially inspection and corrosion standards API-571, API-580, API-570 and API-510.
- Apply experience and knowledge of offshore installations, oil and gas terminals, and/or pipeline systems in the maintenance of risk-based management strategies from a corrosions/materials viewpoint.
- Leverage expertise in the field of material selection (metals, non-metallic materials), corrosion principles, metallurgy and welding, corrosion protection, corrosion management, pipework/vessels/pipeline inspection and maintenance in your work day-to-day.
