Partnering with healthcare professionals, they leverage cutting-edge technology and strategic investments to deliver impactful solutions. With a mission rooted in integrity and excellence, they’re expanding and introducing new tools-like a forthcoming app-to make healthcare smarter and more patient-centric.

The Opportunity
Our client’s business intelligence function has grown from the ground up since 2020, driving insights across finance, clinical outcomes, and commercial operations. They’re now looking for a talented Data Engineer to take ownership of their data pipelines, working alongside their BI lead and IT consultants to strengthen and scale their systems. This is a chance to shape how data powers better healthcare, integrating new sources like their app and enhancing their cloud-based infrastructure.

What You’ll Do

  • Reorganise and rebuild existing data pipelines to ensure reliability and efficiency.
  • Take ownership of data orchestration, building on their early use of DBT and exploring tools like Airflow where needed.
  • Integrate new data sources (e.g., REST APIs from their app) into their cloud-hosted SQL Server warehouse.
  • Collaborate with the BI team and IT consultants to solve open-ended challenges and support business growth.
  • Use Python and Git to streamline workflows and maintain a robust, evolving data ecosystem.

Who You Are

  • Experienced with SQL and Python-must-haves for wrangling and transforming data.
  • Comfortable with REST APIs and integrating diverse data sources.
  • Familiar with DBT or similar orchestration tools (or keen to learn and grow into them).
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (ideally Azure, given their setup) and collaborative tools like Git.
  • A problem-solver who thrives in a dynamic environment, turning complex systems into something better.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience with Power BI or other visualisation tools.
  • Knowledge of healthcare data or compliance (e.g., GDPR), though not essential.

Why Join?

  • Contribute to a mission-driven team reshaping healthcare delivery.
  • Work hybrid-2 set days in their London office, with flexibility the rest of the week.
  • Earn a competitive salary with room to grow as they expand.
  • Shape a role that’s yours to define, supported by a collaborative, innovative team.

How to Apply
Ready to make a difference? Send your CV and a brief cover note to (insert email/contact) by (insert deadline). The process starts with a 30-minute remote chat, followed by a 1-hour technical assessment (remote), and concludes with an in-person meeting with their IT team in London.
