Strong leadership and a collaborative ethos ensure that staff are well supported, and teaching is consistently engaging and inclusive.Duties as English Teacher Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons across Key Stages in line with the national curriculumAssess, record, and report on pupil progress, providing constructive feedback to support learningCreate a positive and stimulating classroom environment that promotes a love of literature and languageContribute to departmental planning and whole-school initiativesMaintain high standards of behaviour and implement effective classroom management strategiesParticipate in meetings, training, and school events as requiredIdeal English Teacher Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalentDemonstrates strong subject knowledge and a passion for EnglishHas experience teaching English at secondary levelSkilled in differentiating lessons to meet diverse learning needsExcellent communication and organisational skillsCommitted to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of childrenSalary – dependent on experience – is paid weekly through PAYE (no self‐employed or umbrella companies).
