This is a full-time role for a Health and Safety Trainer / Manager. The role is hybrid, mainly based in Greater London with some work from home flexibility (for example SMSTS training remotely or writing RAMS). The Health and Safety Trainer / Manager will be responsible for developing and delivering health and safety training courses, writing and editing Risk Assessments and Method Statements, providing consultancy for policy development, assisting with ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001, conducting H&S audits and guiding clients through the accreditation process. Additionally, they will ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and best practices.
Qualifications
Mandatory certs:
- NEBOSH Construction
- L3 Award in Education and Training (or CITB equivalent)
- SMSTS
- A minimum of two years experience in construction is also required
Desirable certs to be able to teach:
- Abrasive wheels
- First aid
- Mental health first aid (teaching qualification through CITB)
- Face fit train the trainer
- Banksman
- Temporary works co-ordinator
