We are recruiting for a Break Fix Server Engineer on contract to work for a leading Banking Group based in Camberley.

Responsibilities:

  1. Working on HP, Dell, and IBM servers.
  2. Server provisioning, rack, stack, and configure servers.
  3. Support Trainee DC Engineers when required.
  4. Troubleshoot hardware faults and arrange replacements.
  5. Install and decommission redundant equipment.
  6. Provide expert hardware support.
  7. Responsible for proactive updating of customer and resolution of service.
  8. Co-operate and work closely with all members of the support team to ensure efficient, productive, and high-quality technical support and customer service to customers within the live Data Centre.
  9. Liaise with onsite support engineers and within other sites.
  10. Manage all incoming calls and emails to the data centre support function.
  11. Liaise with third-party suppliers to report and escalate customer problems.
  12. Respond to customers within agreed SLA.
  13. Follow escalation processes; tickets to support management and other teams as required.
  14. Escalate tickets to 2nd line against agreed timescales and continue to monitor these tickets to resolution.
