Weβre seeking an Infrastructure & Reliability Lead to drive automation, observability, and operational excellence in a fast-paced financial services environment. This role involves mentoring an operations squad , optimising infrastructure reliability, and leveraging scripting and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to enhance system performance and scalability.
What Youβll Be Doing
- Lead & Mentor β Oversee an operations squad, ensuring alignment with business and technical objectives.
- Automation & IaC β Use Python, PowerShell, Terraform, and Ansible to automate configurations, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Monitoring & Observability β Maintain and improve system observability with Grafana, Splunk, OpsGenie, and PRTG to proactively address issues.
- Incident & Disaster Recovery β Manage incident response, root cause analysis, and DR plans to ensure business continuity.
- Security & Compliance β Enforce security best practices, access controls, and audit logs in line with regulatory requirements.
- Operational Excellence β Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and system performance.
- Hands-On Support β Participate in daily operations, handle requests, and manage on-call rotations to ensure platform stability.
What You Need
- 7+ years of infrastructure support & maintenance experience
- Strong troubleshooting skills in Linux & Windows environments
- Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), VMware, Citrix, and Office 365
- Expertise in monitoring tools (Grafana, Splunk, OpsGenie, PRTG)
- Hands-on experience with Terraform & Ansible for system configuration
- Proficiency in Python & PowerShell for automation
- Strong leadership & stakeholder engagement experience
- Familiarity with ITIL & Agile operational support frameworks
Nice to Have
- Experience managing on-call rotations & incident response processes
- Background in large-scale financial services infrastructure
