We are looking for a full time, Level 3+ qualified Room Leader to join our Bright Horizons Hinxton Nursery.
At Bright Horizons Hinxton we are very proud of our ‘GOOD’ Ofsted rating which is reflected by the quality of our staff and resources’. Each well-equipped room has access to an enclosed garden area, and children also benefit from a secure woodland area that they can explore.
The nursery offers a free shuttle bus at various times throughout the day via the campus to/from Saffron Walden and Cambridge. The Role also offers a reduced Gym membership at £5 per month.

What you’ll be doing

Lead, mentor and inspire a team to deliver exceptional care and education

Ensure the learning environment provides consistent stimulation and engaging activities for the children, across both the indoor and outdoor areas

Deliver and plan rich learning opportunities and exceptional care, to help all children to develop and meet their individual milestones

Develop and maintain strong partnerships with colleagues, parents and/or carers, as well as other professionals, to meet the individual needs of each child
-
Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety and safeguarding
-
Work with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy and safe environment

Full and Relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification (essential)

Previous experience working within an Early Years setting – ideally as a Room Leader, Nursery Nurse, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator or similar

Sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage

Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the wider legislative requirements for working with children

Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with both colleagues and parents

Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
