Job Description
Role: Firewall Engineer
Length: 2 months
IR35: Outside IR35
Location: Hybrid – Manchester
This is to support a service provider with an internal project migrating firewalls from Cisco ASA to Firepower.
Key responsibilities:
- Run through the rules and access controls
- Migrate firewalls over or update rules, or access controls to migrate
- Support the Head of Infrastructure to guide them on the necessary changes
Key experience:
- Strong CISCO Firewall knowledge – ASA and Firepower
- Previous experience migrating from ASA to Firepower
- Someone who is independent to be left to deliver the tasks
- CCNA + CCNP a plus
