We are currently looking for a Lead M&E Project Manager to join our Planned Works team on a fixed term contract.
You’ll manage the design, procurement and delivery or M&E projects by working with the client, suppliers and project delivery team to ensure projects are set up and delivered on time, on budget and meet the highest of quality standards.
This a new role for us in a growing team, and you’ll need to have a broad knowledge of M&E contacts management with in-depth knowledge and experience of fire risk related works., * Dotted line responsibility of M&E works in the team.

Manage and oversee all aspects of M&E projects both in housing and education sectors.

Review drawings, Specification of works and submittals for compliance with the scope of work

Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the specified quality standards.

Manage all forms of stakeholders and maintain the highest standards in communication.

Handle and validate variation orders and provide technical guidance and support to project teams, resolving any technical issues that may arise pre and post contract.

Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.

Manage project budgets, resources, and schedules to achieve project objectives

Produce and manage a project planner

Collected and file all relevant documentation for O&Ms
Are you a Lead M&E Project Manager with experience of working in the social housing sector? Do you have Proven track record as a Project Manager on projects up to £3m (ideally within a consultancy/client-side environment) ideally with knowledge and experience working through RIBA Stages?, * Relevant M&E design, management or commissioning experience in the industrial/mission critical arena

Bachelor’s degree in a related field (desired)

Able to read and interpret construction documents including equipment schedules and single line diagrams

Must demonstrate a working knowledge of various M&E analysis, and Part B building regulations

Able to discuss and interpret technical construction details with stakeholders, and Comfortable in Client facing role and developing Client relationships

Proven track record of delivering mechanical electrical responsibility on multiple projects

Responsible for managing and delivering your own projects on time and within budget

Pre and post contract experience

Knowledge of various forms of contract

Dealing with Tenders, negotiating with contractors, procurement knowledge etc

Excellent computer skills proficient in MS Office (Project, Excel, Outlook, Project, Word), and other IT applications.
