We are seeking a reliable and experienced AC engineer to perform service maintenance on high-end commercial sites across Greater London. The successful candidate will provide professional service to our clients, working on a variety of Air Conditioning systems. The role involves acting as the Air Conditioning Supervisor for the area, with responsibilities split between supervisory duties and hands-on work.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Attend and complete PPMs & reactive works, including breakdowns
- Install experience (retrofit/system replacements) is required
- Perform troubleshooting and fault finding on all A/C systems
- Produce quotations for works/remedials following service visits
- Work on splits, VRFs, AHUs, DX systems, and some Central Plant
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Mobility across Greater London is required
- Complete FGAS paperwork and update logbooks on client premises
- Participate in the Out of Hours Call Out Rota
Role includes a company van, uniform, PDA, and mobile phone.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- C&G 2079 Cat 1 NVQ Level 3 or equivalent F-Gas certification
- Strong mechanical and electrical background
- Experience in a similar role is essential
- Knowledge of building fabric and basic fabric reactive repairs
- Understanding of health and safety obligations related to maintenance
- Willingness to work out of hours and on scheduled callouts
- Good communication and organizational skills
- UK Driving License
- Proficiency with IT packages such as Outlook and Word
