The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Landscaping Operative to join BEAR Scotland. Key Responsibilities Your responsibilities will include: * Preparation/inspection of machinery and equipment for days work * Attend all relevant toolbox talks * Filling in of weekly timesheet and relevant paperwork where required * Report vehicle defects and ensure that accidents/incidents and reported accordingly * Any other duties as required * General landscaping duties including grass cutting, weed control etc Your Skills and Experience We are interested in hearing from candidates with the following qualifications and skills: Essential: * Experience of landscape works * Basic knowledge of landscape operations and machinery * Preferably hold a current driving licence * Ability to develop skills within the department * Ability to carry out basic reporting * Good at working in a team * Working together with other employees in relation to works * Good work ethic * Good communication skills * Knowledge of the requirement of Health and Safety rules and procedures * Physically fit for working in sometimes arduous conditions * Ability to problem solve * Flexible to working practices * Ability to cope with change * Good Planning and organisational skills Why Join BEAR Scotland?
