Trade Finance
Hays are hiring for a Trade Finance SME to join a bank in London on a contract basis. You will be responsible for:
- Processing and approving Trade Finance transactions. Ensure all transactions are processed and settled on a timely basis.
- Identifying and resolving errors promptly and reporting to Head of Department / Front Office.
- Cross-training self and others proactively to create a fungible team capable of flexing to the requirements of a multi-business stream environment.
- Supporting initiatives, strategic planning, and projects as required.
- Supporting others across the wider team covering all products, including document checking.
- Completing compliance checks and further controls put in place to mitigate risks.
Skills required:
- Deep understanding of all Trade Finance products, including Import and Export LCs, Guarantees, Collections, Discounting, Forfaiting, Confirmations.
- Commodity Trade Finance experience.
- Knowledge of UCP 600, ISP98, URDG 758, URC 522.
- SWIFT Alliance experience.
