Senior Financial Analyst/Controller (m/w/d)

A major financial services firm is currently looking for an experienced and highly motivated Senior Financial Analyst/Controller to join their finance team based in Munich. As the financial controller, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of finance within this asset management firm.

The job:

As the senior financial analyst/controller, you will be expected to develop and implement effective strategies that support long-term business goals. You must have excellent analytical skills with attention to detail while being able to identify trends/patterns which influence performance positively/negatively.

1. Monitor and analyse actual and planned financial performance
2. Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports
3. Preparation of presentations and materials for senior management
4. Develop and maintain financial models to support forecasting and budgeting processes.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum 5-8 years experience in a comparable position in finance
2. BA or MA in economics, business administration or equivalent with a focus on finance
3. In depth knowledge and experience with Excel and PowerPoint
4. Experience with SAP
5. Fluency in written and spoken English; German is an advantage
