Office Assistant – Somerset White (London)

Somerset White is seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of our busy London office. This role will provide essential support to our Finance Manager and Office Manager, as well as occasional assistance to our Lifestyle Team with client requests.

Who We\’re Looking For

We are seeking candidates with experience in office administration, data entry, bookkeeping, or a similar field. The ideal candidate will be professional, meticulous, highly organized, and a dedicated team player.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 6pm

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing petty cash and reconciling accounts
  • Credit control, including following up on payments
  • Generating statements and raising invoices
  • Handling large volumes of data entry
  • Supporting office management tasks, such as ordering supplies and maintaining office systems
  • Assisting the client-facing team with various projects, including travel and cultural research
  • Running errands across London and overseeing work at clients’ properties

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
  • Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail
  • Highly proactive with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Excellent time management and ability to work under pressure
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A flexible, ‘no job is too big or too small’ mindset

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 per year DOE

Additional pay: Bonus scheme
