A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Site Manager to join a successful, well-known contractor with a strong pipeline of public sector works and a great reputation for delivering quality schemes.

Currently engaged on a long-term framework scheme in the heart of Somerset, they are in need of additional resource in the form of a Site Manager to join the team. This is a long-term, PAYE contract role which would involve sub-contractor supervision, managing Health & Safety quality control on a new build academic facility, specifically overseeing service diversions.

You should have previous Main contracting experience gained on major projects, with some civils/groundworks experience to boot. It’s expected you’ll have an SMSTS, First Aid at Work, and CSCS Card, with Asbestos Awareness being advantageous. As the scheme is an Academic facility, an enhanced DBS will be essential.

The initial contract commences in March and runs for 6 months, but there is real potential for this contract to run longer, subject to sustained workload and individual performance. This is a great opportunity for someone to work with one of the most dynamic contractors in the region on an amazing contract!
