JOB TITLE: Junior Database Administrator LOCATION: Yeovil, Somerset SALARY: Circa £23K PA BENEFITS: 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays + 5% Contributory Pension + Free parking HOURS: Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm (1 hour for lunch) THE COMPANY: A global market leader, where quality and teamwork is at the heart of their business. THE ROLE: This is a fantastic opportunity for a Database Administrator to join a dynamic team. The quality and accuracy of the supplier database is key to ensuring an efficient operation and an outstanding service. DUTIES: Responsible for the database of the company and ensuring all information is correct. This includes all publisher addresses, product information and prices. Sourcing all new information to be added to the system. An element of the role will be finance related however full training will be provided.SKILLS / EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE Attention to detail – the database is the foundation of the company, so it is vital all information is correct. Self-motivation and pro activity – the role of the database is independent so the successful candidate will need to be self-motivated and have the ability to work under their own supervision and prioritise workload.
