A qualified English Teacher is required for a small group Tutor of English for a secondary school in the Newcastle area. You will deliver English to GCSE pupils needing to improve their grades and performance. Ideally you will have secondary school teaching experience in delivering English and be willing to work with children from disadvantaged backgrounds. This is a full English Tutor time role will begin in June and last for several months until at least the end of December 2025. The school is mixed sex and has supportive and friendly staff and managers. The ideal candidate would: * Have good classroom management skills * Have a passion for teaching English * Have excellent subject knowledge * Be able to organise themselves * Be able to plan effective, engaging English lessons.
